I am Lauren Hill, a former British, European and World Champion Acrobatic Gymnast. I had the honour of representing my country as part of GB on multiple occasions.

My gymnastics journey started at the age of 2 and as I progressed I spent many hours each week in the gym. I had the opportunity to travel internationally competing from the age of 9.

I still love the sport and since retiring from competitive gymnastics I have been inspired to pass on my knowledge and expertise to the next generation of aspiring athletes.

I have over a decade of experience of teaching gymnastics in multiple settings.

Join Flip, Twist & Tumble Gymnastics today!

At Flip Twist and Tumble our classes are split into age groups. This allows for the lessons to be catered to meet the needs of each individual child and allow them to develop at their own rate.

When booking, please allocate your child into the age appropriate class for them. We have tried to split them into school year classes, as we know that they learn best surrounded by children their own age. We understand that children learn at different paces so if we find that your child is achieving everything in their lesson, at coach discretion, we can progress them into an older class for them to continue their learning.

4-4:45pm - 4-5 years old (Reception) - £9 a class

4:50-5:55pm - 5-7 years old (Year 1 & 2) - £12.50 a class

5:55-6:55pm - 8-12 years old (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6) - £12.50 a class

7-8pm - 8-12 years old (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6) - £12.50 a class

Our Classes

4-5 Years Old | 16:00 - 16:45

This class is designed for 4 to 5 year olds in Reception or signing up for starting school in September. This class focuses on learning their fundamental gymnastics skills. as well as developing their fine and gross motor skills, teamwork and following instructions.

This class runs term time on a Thursday, 16:00-16:45. Lessons begin on 16th January, half term is 20th Febuary (no lesson) and then they will run up until Easter, last lesson 3rd April.

5-7 Years Old | 16:50 - 17:50

This class is designed for children aged 5 to 7 years of age, in Year 1 and 2. These classes are an hour long, filled with warm up games, skills of the week and plenty of equipment to be spinning and flipping around on. They will learn and progress all their fundamental gymnastics skills, as well as promote turn taking, independence and making new friends.

This class runs every Thursday during term time, 16:50-17:50. Lessons begin on 16th January, half term is 20th February (no lesson) and they will run up until Easter, last lesson 3rd April.

8-12 Years Old | 17:55 - 18:55 & 19:00 - 20:00

This class is designed for children ages 8 to 12 years old. We welcome children of all levels, so whether they are a beginner or advanced, we have skills suitable for them. The content of the class will change each week, with new skills to learn, rotation of equipment and plenty of fun.

We offer 2 classes for this age range, they run term time on a Thursday 17:55-1855 & 19:00-20:00. Lessons begin on 16th January, half term is 20th February (no lesson) and then they will run up until Easter, last lesson 3rd April.

About our classes

At Flip, Twist & Tumble, we strive to provide a fun and safe environment for all gymnasts to learn and grow their skills. We are a recreational gymnastics club where gymnasts come for fun.

We offer recreational classes for children ages 4-12 years old. Classes are aged based, however have the potential to split up during the lessons, according to abilities, to ensure we meet each individual child’s needs.

Our classes align with the school calendar to allow for you to maximise and make the most of each lesson. We understand the holidays are a time to relax and get away so we ensure to allow for this time off so no child feels although they are missing out.
